Occupation: Retired from retail.
Comments:

I moved to Georgia after graduating from MSU, hoping to start a career in landscaping. (There is a FULL year when you can dig in the dirt here in the south.) After a disappointing job search, I took a temporary job at a local Kmart. 34 years later, my "temporary" job ended in a forced retirement when the 7th where I was working, closed in November 2011
In April 2014, I completed my County Extension Master Gardener training.
Over the last few years I have been clearing unchecked growth in the ditches and field of our family home, South of Wayland. Trees and invasive shrubs had taken over. I am currently in the process of clearing the field behind the house with a chainsaw and hand held brush cutter. I will be back in July 2016 to continue with the clearing. It keeps me in shape if nothing else.

Still clearing the field at the old family home in Wayland. This picture was taken from the rear of the property. You can almost see the house.

Google Earth took a picture of me burning some brush in April of 2016. At the 1 o'clock position, next to the smoke, you can see my shadow.

The trees and invasive shrubs were taking over the field. This was in September 2013.
