Rita, I tried to visit you in the hospital, just missed you, I hope you are better, I no longer have your phone #, tried several times to call you.

Dan, I pray that you are better also, so sorry to hear that you are ill.

I wish that I could have attended the reunion, let me know if there are any get togethers this summer, I'd love to reconnect

Good afternoon all.  Just dropping a line updating you in my daily happenings.  I am headed to surgery on Thursday June 10, 2010 to have a post drilled into my skull which has to sit for 3 months before I get what they call a Baha.  This hearing device will allow me to hear anything going on my left side as I have zero hearing out of that ear presently.  So, with that said, signing off for now.  Will post further as I get home the hospital.  Good Day and Be Safe.

Reggie,

It was a pleasure to host this year's event.  It  was good to see those who could attend.  We do have a pretty classy class, when you think about it.

Mrs Geneva Wycoski (kindergarten teacher for many of us) is doing pretty well at age 95!  She is still sharp as a tack and a very beautiful lady.

She resides at the Cook retirement village behind the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center.  It is on the north side of 84th St.  I'm sure she'd like to see any of you in the kindergarten class pic under the "Old Photos" section of this web site.  I am going to print out that pic and bring her a copy soon.  Best wishes.

Gary

I hope all are doing fine.  A lil update on this end.  After being terminated Apr. 20, 2012 I was forced to go on unemployment as you know the age factor, termination and duty related knee injury played a big part of obtaining a job.

I had injured my right knee while still working for WPD and had the minuscus in my right knee repaired and it didn't take so I am still waiting for workers comp to authorize another surgery for repairs but I am sure you know how that goes.

I finally landed a full time position as Maintenance person at the Windsor Woods Village by McDonalds in Wayland.  Great job.  I used to like the winter and snow but after the past few weeks, I think I am ready for warmer weather but not hot weather.

Anyway, so much for me.  Take care and be careful out there.  D

Well it's Aug. 2014. Have not worked since Feb. 23, 2014 due to back injury. To much snow plowing, shoveling mobile home roofs due to the heavy snow and crawling under the homes fixing frozen water lines and my age. It all caught up to me. I had back surgery May 12. Repaired 5 bulging discs and 2 fusions were done on lower back. Still in a back brace. Go to surgeon in a couple weeks hopefully to be brace free. So, take care if your body.  Moving to Hastings in a few weeks. Carry on and be careful out there.
